Samsung's Galaxy S22 Ultra has a lot of ground to fill. The most recent Ultra will either be the ultimate phone, period, or fall short for either group in some way, trying to appeal to both productivity-focused stylus lovers and photography enthusiasts.
On the surface, S Pen supporters will have little to gripe about. The S22 Ultra has the same stylus as the Note20 Ultra and, like a true Note, has a silo for keeping the thing inside the phone. The S21 Ultra doesn't require you to carry the stylus separately until you inexorably lose it. Not that the old one was bad, but the notable improvements in latency also sound promising.
Also not to be let down is the camera crew. You get the same quad setup as the S21 Ultra (at least conceptually) and a few telephoto lenses with up to 10x zoom, as well as an autofocusing ultrawide (which Samsung insists should only be available on the Ultra). Of course, this is in addition to the 108MP big-sensor Nona-binning main camera.
